PROJECTS and BLEACHER REPAIR, PLUS

As reported by Roger Austin.

There's been quite a bit of work done since the Fall Show. The work days helped. On Thursday the 16th we had the following working on bleachers - flipping seats: Roger Austin, Chuck Goolden, Lee Goolden, Wayne Hill, Myron Langford, and Rudy Sinkeldam. Lee Goolden also raked the ground and planted grass around the back of the barn. Ken Tupper had done some tractor work earlier, and it looks much better back there. Dave Baker was there, rolling up string. He also fixed the sign to show the Members Meeting date in October.

On Saturday the 18th, Wayne Hill was working on bleachers with Bob Moulton. I arrived and we staked out the approx. location of the Public Toilets. Gary Hargrave worked on tacking up drooping insulation in the basement of the farm house. I hosted Barb Fisher and friends visiting the buildings. Carol Austin and Linda Batt came back on the 20th and finished painting the bleacher seats - ready for winter. When the welding is finished we can finish painting the rest of the metal.
