June ?, 2012 ---- Canton, N.Y. --- Dairy Princess Parade

The St. Lawrence County Dairy Princess Parade and Festival. Festival in the park starts at 10:00am. Food, crafts, demonstrations, duck pluck, chicken bbq, petting booth, cake walk and lots of fun. The parade starts at 1:00pm. with marching bands, clowns, horses, fire trucks and much more.



June 9 -10, 2012 ---- Madrid, N.Y. ---- THE MUSEUM'S SPRING EXHIBITION

Our 30th Annual Antique Engine and Spring Planting Exhibition will held at the Museum's Goolden - Mann Farm on Route 345 in Madrid, New York.

Members have been working since last year at the permanent home of the Museum and will continue in 2012. The newest building is our Horse Drawn Equipment Building. It is almost complete. The post and beam construction is truly a work of art and a site to see.

The Collections building was completed for the Fall Exibition in 2010. The new Pavillion, with kitchen, was done for the June 08 Exhibition and electric and water were installed.

Featuring: Old-time spring planting and plowing. Antique engines, machines, autos, trucks, and tractors. Saw mills. Farm tour, antique auction, farm animals, pulling contests, great food, and live music.



June ? , 2012 ---- Madrid Blue Grass Festival

The Museum members expect, again, to have an area to promote our efforts. The Madrid Blue Grass Festival is one of the biggest blue gass gatherings in the northeast and is located less than a half mile from the Museum.

August, ? - ?, 2012 ---- Gouverneur, N.Y., St. Lawrence County Fair. ( Rock Island Rd., Gouverneur ) Ag displays, midway rides and games, food and family fun.

The Museum members are invited to participate and operate a booth at the fair. Al Garrand chairs the popular event that includes many displays at the Museum's tent and nightly tractor parades .



September 1 - 2, 2012 --- Madrid, N.Y. ---- THE MUSEUM'S FALL EXHIBITION

The Museum's 22nd Annual Old Fashioned Harvest Days will be on Labor Day weekend at the Goolden - Mann Farm on Route 345 in Madrid, New York. It will feature antique tractor and engines, working displays, fieldwork, plowing, baling, corn binding, chopping, crafts and an antique tractor pull. Kids' pedal tractor pull, petting zoo, tractor games, and lots of great food and hospitality.
